This screencast shows how to change display of OG fields, how to alter the groups you can add new content to, and how to turn on field access permissions. It covers:
- How to hide OG fields that are only used for configuration.
- That you can show OG fields using Views instead, if you want to display them on special occations.
- That the field groups audience, used when posting content to groups, can be set to also show groups that you are not a member of.
- That the module Organic groups field access makes it possible to set permissions for viewing/editing selected fields – though this is only used when editing content (not creating it).
