About the Entity Reference module

This screencast introduces the Entity Reference module. It covers:

• How to add entity reference fields to your site.
• Some words about the "Entity selection mode", which hopefully means that it will become possible to use Views for selecting entities.
• An erroneous explanation of the "Autocomplete (tags style)" widget – see next screencast for a correct explanation.
• That it is possible to use Devel Generate to populate entity reference fields. Sweet!
• Differences between Entity Reference and the References module. In short: Prefer Entity Reference unless you have good reasons not to.
• Differences between Entity Reference and the Relation module. In short: Use Entity Reference for simple cases, and Relation if you know that you'll have to add more data to the relations/references.
